Welcome to the DoDDS-Europe website for the Non-DoD Schools Program. We hope you will find the information here helpful to you. Our mission is to provide educational guidance and support and financial assistance to help your children access available educational programs comparable to that offered in the Department of Defense Education Activity.

DoDDS-Europe operates 98 schools in Europe, serving 41,000 students. In addition, the Non-DoD Schools Program serves 1600 students who live where there is not a DoDDS school. Your children will attend a local private or public school or be home-schooled. As soon as possible, and before you commit tuition or other fees or register at any school, please read the instructions on how to apply for funding support.

This site provides you the instructions and forms you need for registering with us and the forms for claiming reimbursement of allowable educational expenses. It also provides information on topics that may be of interest to you. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions or need assistance.

Special Education Procedures

The Non-DoD Schools Program is committed to the provision of appropriate special education and related services for DoD dependents who are space-required and eligible for NDSP. Please click on the link to the left to read about the procedures that will be followed in the identification and provision of special education services for eligible DoD dependents residing in areas where there is no DoD school. The NDSP education point of contact must issue authorization of payment for the cost of all services prior to incurring any expense.
