DoDDS-E 2008 European Soccer Championship Relinquished

Wiesbaden, Germany — Department of Defense Dependents Schools - Europe has been notified by the Black Forest Academy of Kandern, Germany, that their boys soccer team is relinquishing their 2008 European Soccer Division II Championship title. Black Forest Academy is an international school that participates in the DoDDS-E sports league. The team won the championship on May 24 playing at Ramstein, Germany. All awards presented, which include the 2008 championship plaque and game ball will be returned to DoDDS-E for violation of DoDDS-E policy.
In a decision coordinated with the European Athletic Council DoDDS-E has determined that Shape High School will be the European Soccer Division II boys champions for 2008.
