Employment

Grievances

Employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement (educators at the school-level) may use the negotiated grievance procedures (Overseas Federation of Teachers (OFT) or Federal Education Association) contained therein. All other employees and supervisors may use the Administrative Grievance Procedure set forth in DS Regulation 5771.9.

Leave Administration

DoDDS-Europe follows the leave policy set forth in DS Regulation 5630.9 for General Schedule and Federal Wage System employees. DoDDS-Europe follows the leave policy set forth in DS Regulation 5630.4 for educators in Teaching Positions (TPs) as well as the language in the collective bargaining agreements for school-level educators.

Performance Appraisals

DoDDS-Europe follows the Performance Appraisal Policy set forth in the Educator Performance Appraisal System for all educators at the school-level. DoDDS-Europe follows the performance appraisal policy set forth in DS Regulation 5430.9 for all other employees.

If you are interested in retirement counseling or questions on retirements, please contact the Lead Human Resources Specialist, DSN 338-7373 (commercial 0611 380 7373), for the AAOT/MK area. Employees in the school districts should contact their Personnel Center Representative (PCR). Information may also be obtained from the OPM website.
