LinguaFest 2005 begins on Monday, October 31st.

What is LinguaFest? It's an intensive five-day celebration of world languages and cultures for DoDDS-Europe foreign language students in grades 9-12. Students will acquire new knowledge and skills in designing, planning, and creating products or performances over the course of a week. The overarching goal is for students to increase their foreign language skills and learn about other cultures.

LinguaFest 2005 will take place from October 31 – November 4. Courses will be taught by expert instructors from DoDDS staff as well as Dr. Susan Gross of TPRS Workshops. Classes in dance, drama, music, literature, and history will emphasize foreign languages in the target cultures. LinguaFest 2005 will culminate with presentations, performances, and exhibitions of the students’ work.

It will be a meeting of the minds, a time for talents to soar, and sparks to fly!
